What We’re All About
The Rapids Dragon Boat Club is an U18's dragon boat team dedicated to increasing junior participation in the sport and providing young athletes with the information they need to pursue their dragon boating goals. We are dedicated to developing the paddling knowledge and ability of current and future junior paddlers.
Who We Are
Rapids are U18 paddlers from a variety of dragon boat clubs in Victoria who train together and compete in various regattas during the season. This gives paddlers aged 10 - 18 years, the opportunity to paddle and socialise with other athletes of their own age.
The Rapids are open to juniors of all abilities and fitness levels and with our supportive coaching team, each member can achieve their personal best.

TRAINING
We at Rapids believe that dragon boat racing is good for your physical and mental well being. It supports getting fit and staying fit which is vital to the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle, and its great fun of course!
Dual Membership with any of the Victorian Clubs allows the U18s to race together and against each other in races at the Victorian regattas. This has proved vital in supporting those athletes who want to prepare for Victorian and National team selection.
